The AGM was be followed by a four course Lebanese banquet with Guest Speaker, Yvonne Matta, author of No Stone Unturned: a Lebanese-Australian Family Memoir.
Yvonne’s book is the story of her family leaving their Lebanese roots to emigrate to Australia, Brazil and the USA, become part of Lebanese society once again, and once more return to Australia. The ties to their ancestral land remain strong, and this book serves to tell the new generation who they are, where they came from and of the richness of their heritage.
