Reels And Writings: Lebanese Voices from the Past

ALHS NSW Branch Presentation as part of the History Council of NSW’s History Week, 2-10 September 2023, History Week 2023 Theme: Voices from the Past.

The presentation will examine Lebanese voices from the past via visual and material culture, and the different mediums through which families communicated with one another both domestically and overseas.

Taking the form of letters, journals, audio reels and video footage, the presentation will recover the authentic forgotten voices of people from the past.

The presentation will be livestreamed for free on Zoom.
