Rose Kairouz Succar – A Life’s Journey

A great night for a great woman.

A big crowd attended the New South Wales Parliament Theatrette on the evening of Tuesday 28th March 2017 for the launch of the oral history of our member Rose Kairouz Succar and to celebrate International Women’s Week 2017. ALHS Vice-President Mounira Saad said that it was fitting that Rose, a pioneering woman in the community and business sector who has made a significant mark in the Lebanese and general community, should be this year’s subject.

Interviewed by John Koorey and suported by Petronella Fakhry, Rose’s oral history now forms part of the Australian Lebanese Historical Society Collection. It is supported by a profusely illustrated commemorative booklet and a short Youtube video, that outline Rose’s life journey.
